Question

70-year-old woman with recent cognitive disorders. Patient known for intermittent atrial fibrillation.

MRI before injection: what is your diagnosis?

ANSWER

It is a tumoral lesion with a mass effect and significant edema (visible on the non-contrast MRI) with central necrosis.
The primary care physician is immediately contacted and decides to hospitalize the patient.
