10-year-old child complaining of left hip pain with limping, without trauma.

What do you think?

ANSWER

Metaphyseal-epiphyseal inflammatory infiltration at the level of the growth plate at the junction between the head and neck of the left femur. This diagnosis was made following an MRI examination.

Diagnosis = Epiphysiolysis

Orthopedic consultation required.
