Question

Retractable capsulitis
MRI: thickened and retracted capsule with strong enhancement after contrast injection. The hyperintense subchondral line is pathognomonic for adhesive capsulitis.

Answer

After analgesia, the radiologist performs an ARTHRODISTENSION by injecting 0.9% NaCl with Kenacort to distend the joint capsule (here, 15 ml)
